Kicking off our list of the most valuable Pokémon Abyss Eye cards is this Fomantis. An Art Rare variant, its full illustration is a beautiful depiction of the Fomantis in its natural environment. It’s this type of art, which doesn’t focus on battling or action poses, which has really elevated Pokémon in the last 10 years or so.We’ll be seeing a few more examples of this type of card as we make our way down the list!

9. Primarina – Art Rare, 085/081

This gorgeous Primarina card is much the same thing as the Fomantis, in terms of depicting a Pokémon in its environment, away from the action and danger of battle.

8. Silvally – Art Rare, 093/081

The Rust Syndicate is a sinister organization, first making their appearance in video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Here we have two of their lower level members, one looking particularly cool and the other seeming to be somewhat less satisfied with their position!

5. Wailord ex – Super Rare, 095/081

Tying for first place as the Pokémon with the highest HP ever (so far at least) is this Wailord ex card. On that alone, it’s clear why this would be a highly sought after card, but just look at the enormous, adorable Pokémon’s face! That counts for something too, right?

4. Bastiodon – Art Rare, 091/081

We’re heading back into the wild with Bastiodon. I have to admit, I’m a big fan of these candid, wildlife documentary-style shots of Pokémon too, so I can see why they become so valuable to collectors!

3. Gwynn – Super Rare, 111/081

Here’s another Pokémon Trainer, and this time it’s someone who’s much more familiar to longer term Pokémon fans. As one of the main characters in the original Pokémon animated show, Misty remains one of the most popular human characters in Pokémon overall!
