Kicking off our list of the most valuable cards in the Chaos Rising set is this beautiful Illustration Rare card featuring Frogadier. The Stage 1 evolution of Generation 6 starter, Froakie, you can see why this gorgeously vibrant card is one that fans are keen to pull from their Chaos Rising booster packs!
9. Froakie – Illustration Rare, 088/086
Speaking of Froakie, here’s the Generation 6 starter on their own Illustration Rare card. It’s a perfect partner to the Frogadier Illustration Rare, with both cards featuring art by popular Pokémon card artist, Susumu Maeya.
8. Mega Greninja ex – Ultra Rare, 100/086
Most of this list is taken up by Froakie and its evolutions, as you’ll see. This card features the Stage 2 evolved form of Froakie, in its Mega ex form. Here we have Mega Greninja ex in its Ultra Rare variant, featuring the popular, colorful silhouette style that’s been featured across all of the Mega Evolution sets so far.

Roxie’s Performance features the musically inclined Trainer rocking out, with a punky, neon-colored illustration that catches the attention immediately.
6. AZ’s Tranquility – Special Illustration Rare, 120/086
A much more sedate illustration of a Pokémon Trainer here; quite appropriate given that the name of the card is AZ’s Tranquility. Here we see AZ bonding with a Floette, which is an important part of Pokémon lore!
5. Mega Floette ex – Special Illustration Rare, 117/086
Is it coincidental that the next card to feature on this list is a Mega Floette ex, given that we’ve just seen AZ? Perhaps, but it’s obvious why this fantastic card is one that fans are keen to get their hands on!
4. Mega Dragalge ex – Special Illustration Rare, 118/086
This is an almost abstract piece of art, and its swirling lines of color make it a particularly stunning card. It’s a perfect fit for the floaty, underwater nature of Mega Dragalge ex, and it’s clear why this card is so sought after.
3. Cinccino ex – Special Illustration Rare, 119/086
The marrying of food and Pokémon in the card game is always popular, and this playful image of Cinccino ex surrounded by sweet treats in mid-air is a great example of that! We love this card, and we aren’t surprised at all that it ranks so highly on the list of the most valuable Chaos Rising cards!
2. Mega Greninja ex – Mega Hyper Rare, 122/086
Mega Hyper Rare cards are typically the most difficult to find cards in any given set, so you’ll often see them at or close to the top of most valuable cards lists. Their gold, multi-layered textured finish makes them particularly striking, and that’s true of this variant of Mega Greninja ex too.
