This keyword is active while the card is in the Adventure Area. So if you have a card with the Adventure keyword in one of the three Adventure Area lines, you can use this keyword. For example, in the example above, Winona can tap (turn sideways) so that you can untap a Scene card to use again.

Appear

This keyword triggers when a card is played into the Adventure Area. As soon as you’ve paid the cost to play the card and chosen which space to place it in, you may use the Appear ability. In the case of Opal, when played you can choose 1 Rarity card in your Adventure Area. This Rarity then receives a +2 Inspiration bonus for the turn.

Farewell

Pretty much the opposite of Appear, the Farewell keyword triggers when a card leaves the Adventure Area. For example, if a card is discarded and ends up in the Retirement Area, the Farewell ability will trigger. In the case of the above Gummy, when it is retired you can draw 2 cards, then discard 1.

Inspo Boost

An abbreviation of “inspiration boost”, Inspo Boost can be activated during contact, when two characters are facing each other in the Adventure Area, temporarily increasing inspiration to aid in contact. The above Cloudominium card gives a Rainbow Dash +1 inspiration until the end of the Contact.

Pre-Plan

This keyword is only triggered if a Plan card is revealed and removed. Of course, the cards which end up as Plan cards aren’t chosen, but are randomly dealt at the start of the game. When the above Pinkie Pie cards is revealed, it gives all of the owning player’s Characters +1 inspiration until the end of the turn.
