Given Dragon Ball’s longevity as an anime and manga saga (it began way back in 1984!), it’s fair to say that it’s here to stay; the same is true of its presence on the tabletop, where it’s currently best represented by the Dragon Ball Super Card Game.
It’s worth noting that there are two distinct versions of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game. Fusion World joined the already established (but newly renamed) Masters in 2024, with Fusion World intended to be a friendlier, simpler experience for new or younger players.
Throughout 2024, Masters continued to offer a more complex, strategic experience for more serious players and collectors, alongside the newer, simpler Fusion World. However, its future is uncertain and no new sets have yet been announced.
Fusion World: New Adventure – February 2025 (FB-05)
Arriving on February 14th in 2025, with pre-release events scheduled for the previous week, beginning on the 7th of February, the fifth booster set for Fusion World has been named as New Adventure. Unfortunately, aside from the name and the knowledge that the set will feature the standard, 12 card booster packs (plus a code card for the digital version of Fusion World), nothing more is known at this stage.
That’s all of the information we currently have on upcoming sets for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game; if we hear any definitive information on the status of Masters, we will of course report it here. As they say, watch this space.
