Today Bandai, the publishers of Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Fusion World, announced that they would be cancelling and rescheduling tournaments that were set to happen this weekend, due to the California wildfires. Here is the full announcement:
Our thoughts are with all those affected by the wildfires in Southern California.
As the wildfires continue to present a risk to the Greater Los Angeles Area, and to prioritize the safety of all attendees and everyone involved, we have decided to cancel the “DRAGON BALL GAMES BATTLE HOUR 2025” event, originally scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, California, on Jan. 18-19, 2025.
As a result the tournaments, FUSION WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024-2025 GRAND FINALS, FUSION WORLD DIGITAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2024-2025 GRAND FINALS, MASTERS NORTH AMERICA FINALS & WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, which were planned to take place there will be rescheduled.
The Side Events that were planned to take place alongside these will be cancelled.We offer our sincere apologies for the trouble this short notice may cause and thank everyone for their kind understanding.
