We have a big announcement to make here at Card Gamer, and it’s a very exciting one indeed. Since launching in mid-2023, Card Gamer has gone from strength to strength, building a website that’s overflowing with news, reviews, features, and guides to as many card games as we’ve been able to get our hands on. We’re very passionate about our content, and we hope that comes across in our articles; we’re a card game website built by card gamers, for card gamers, and we pride ourselves on providing accessible, in-depth, and informative content for everyone, regardless of age or experience level.
We’re very proud of how far we’ve come and just how much we’ve been able to cover in a relatively short space of time. Now, we’re ready to take Card Gamer to the next level, as internet-based Space Cow Media, the team behind Magic: The Gathering online services EDHREC, Archidekt, Cardsphere and others, has acquired cardgamer.com.
So what does this mean for you, as a reader of Card Gamer? Well, you’ll note that we’ll still be bringing you the same high quality, informative, and regularly published articles that we’ve been providing thus far, but we’re also looking to expand upon that, utilizing an extensive editorial team that operates a variety of other specialized, card game-focused websites, such as EDHREC articles, EDHRECast, Commanders Herald, and Cardsphere. We’re truly looking to ensure that Card Gamer is the website to go to, whether you play Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, UniVersus, or any number of other card games out there. Even if you haven’t built a deck in years, or at all, but have been interested in delving back into the world of card games, collectible or not, Card Gamer will be the site that you can turn to for news, reviews, strategy, and deep dives into games that are no longer published.
