Just one week after the official LOTR MTG set releases, The One Ring card has been officially found and graded with PSA.
Today, PSA tweeted and announced that the real One Ring has been found and graded at their headquarters. The card wasn’t minty fresh though and came in at a 9, but hey… who cares it’s a one of one card!
At this moment in time there has been numerous offers for this card, ranging in the low millions, so it’s likely this will eventually be in the hands of a wealthy collector or celebrity… Post Malone?
Could this become the highest selling trading card of all time? Very likely.

There is no information on who owns the card, and that’s for good reason. The card gamers identity is to be left a secret until they feel comfortable enough to come out themselves.
It’s also likely that PSA are handling most of this, with security teams on hand to keep the One Ring safe… just make sure Smeagle isn’t around.
It’s also likely that the prices of LOTR MTG products will fall slightly, as collectors pull their foot off the gas looking for the one ring.
Me personally, I still think it’s a great set even though the one ring has been found, and I can imagine man players agree with me.
I do think that the hype, and overall exposure for MTG over the last year due to The One Ring has been a huge success and I hope some of the other best trading card games copy this approach.
Where Was The One Ring MTG Card Found?
The 1 of 1 The One Ring card was pulled in Whitby, Ontario, Canada and sold by the MAXimum Cards & Collectibles store to a local customer who visits often.
