All Attack On Titan UniVersus Sets (In Order)

UniVersus Attack On Titan Cards

Though collectible card game UniVersus has been focusing primarily on My Hero Academia since relaunching in 2021 (previously being known as UFS, or the Universal Fighting System, since as far back as 2006!), it has, more recently, slowly expanded into other franchises. Decks and smaller booster sets for popular properties such as Cowboy Bebop, Trigun Stampede, Critical Role and Godzilla have been released, but more are on the way, such as Star Trek and Tekken decks.

However, the Attack On Titan sets mark the biggest expansion beyond My Hero Academia to date, with a full range of products including decks and boosters, along with other, official accessories such as playmats. What Attack On Titan UniVersus sets are there, both released and upcoming?

1. Attack On Titan: Battle For Humanity (August 16th, 2024)

The first Attack On Titan set for UniVersus is called Battle For Humanity, and it features booster packs, Clash Decks and a Challenger Series deck too. Clash Decks are intended to get players up and running as quickly as possible, without having to worry about building a deck; they’re also built in such a way that they’re easy to use, regardless of a player’s skill level, and can also be used to learn how to play UniVersus in general. Each deck has its own playmat and Character card; Levi and Mikasa are the Characters which head up each of the Clash Decks.

Challenger Series decks are a little more complicated to use, and as such are intended for more experienced players. The Attack On Titan: Battle For Humanity Challenger Series deck features a choice of two Characters, so you can vary your strategies depending on who you’re up against with an opponent’s deck! The Character cards featured in this Challenger Series deck are Armin Arlert and Eren Yeager; interestingly, the Eren Yeager card can transform into an Attack Titan.

Double Sided Cards UniVersus

That brings us to the new card type, double sided cards, which makes their first ever appearance in the Attack On Titan: Battle For Humanity set. These are Character cards which can transform from human to Titan, by flipping them over; this is accomplished in game by triggering certain conditions noted on each card. You can find out more information on these in our guide on how to use double sided cards in UniVersus.

Chrome Rares also return in the Attack On Titan: Battle For Humanity set; these are extremely limited, highly valuable cards. You can find out more in our guide to Chrome Rare UniVersus cards. Finally, you can also take a look at our article which takes a look at all of the new Character cards in Attack On Titan: Battle For Humanity, to see what other Characters and alternate art versions of them feature in the set.

As the largest single set ever for UniVersus, containing around 300 cards, it’s clear that this Attack On Titan set is kicking off the saga within UniVersus in a very big way, and fans are well catered for with the cards it features. It won’t end here, however, as a further set is also arriving later in 2024, as you’ll now see!

2. Attack On Titan: Origins Of Power (November 8th, 2024)

The second set for Attack On Titan will be Origins Of Power, which is releasing on November 8th, 2024. Though we don’t yet have any card images or concrete details on what will be included in this set, we do expect that it’ll continue to bring double sided Character cards, as well as much more content that’ll explore the Attack On Titan universe and lore even further.

Of course, as more details come to light, we will be updating this list, and there’s likely to be more sets featuring Attack On Titan to come in 2025 and beyond; watch this space!
