With Terastal Festival being the final Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game (or TCG) set for 2024, fans were keen to see what special cards it delivered. The Pokémon Company didn’t disappoint, as the set contains cards which feature all of the perennially popular Eeveelutions, as well as reprints of some of the most sought after cards from the last year of releases. All of the main set’s cards were revealed recently (check out our list of the main set of cards for Terastal Festival), and the full set of Secret Rare cards have now been revealed too. Terastal Festival: Secret Rare Card Gallery
Secret Rare cards are the rarest and most desirable cards in any Pokémon set. They’re known as “Secret” because their card numbers go beyond the numbering of their main set; for example, Terastal Festival has 187 cards in its main set, but the numbers for the set’s Secret Rare cards begin at 188. Secret Rare cards are mostly alternate art and special foil treatment cards that appear as “standard” in a main set list, but sometimes the odd card from a different set will also make an appearance. When Will the Terastal Festival Cards Be Available in English?
The majority of the Japanese Terastal Festival cards will appear in the English set Prismatic Evolutions, which will be released on January 17th, 2025. The set won’t be identical to Terastal Festival, but Prismatic Evolutions will feature most of the cards from the set.
