On Friday, March 21st, Pokémon TCG Pocket teased their next mini-set, Shining Revelry. This set, coded as set “A2b”, features Pokémon from the Paldea region. Furthermore, as its name suggests, Shining Revelry also introduces shiny Pokémon to the game.
While shiny Pokémon don’t seem to have any gameplay application and currently appear strictly for aesthetics, collectors and completionists will likely seek these cards out in droves. This new aesthetic option for cards may spur a secondary trading economy to burgeon within Pokémon TCG Pocket.
