With the League of Legends universe expanding far beyond the online, multiplayer computer title that spawned it, there are countless fans of the lore who haven’t even experienced the original game. Upcoming League of Legends card game, Riftbound, is set to provide another portal into the PC game’s world, introducing card game fans to its colorful cast of characters, and the unique fusion of magic and technology around them.

Another hugely popular League of Legends spin-off is the animated show Arcane, which has garnered quite a following in the last few years, and with good reason; it’s excellent (if you haven’t checked it out already, you really should!). With Arcane having introduced fans to the League of Legends universe, it makes perfect sense for Arcane to appear in Riftbound too.

So it’s great to see that Riot Games are wasting no time in bringing Arcane to Riftbound, with the Riftbound: League of Legends Arcane Box Set. Let’s take a look at the set, and find out how you can get your hands on it!

What Is in the Riftbound: League of Legends Arcane Box Set?

As you can see from the image above, Riftbound’s Arcane set contains six cards, with each one featuring a major character from the show. The set was first debuted at the TFT Macao Open event, though it’s worth noting that the English version of the set has updated card designs. The cards included are foil treated, and fans will immediately recognize Jinx,
Vi, Heimerdinger, Caitlyn, Viktor and Warwick in the set, and these variants are exclusive to the set, which is also packaged in a beautiful display case.

How Can I Pre-Order the Riftbound: League of Legends Arcane Box Set?

You’ll be able to pre-order the set from September 2, 2025 at 9AM PT. It’ll be be available on the Riot Games Merch store, though do bear in mind that the link to the product page won’t be live until 9/2. Note that in order to pre-order the set, you’ll need a Riot ID, so if you don’t have one, it’s worth getting setting it up before the pre-order date. Note that pre-orders are strictly limited to three box sets per customer maximum too.

The Riftbound: League of Legends Arcane Box Set will cost $69.99, and is due to ship sometime late in 2025, or early 2026.
