It’s almost hard to believe, but Whispers in the Well is the tenth set for Disney Lorcana. 10. The Headless Horseman, Terror of Sleepy Hollow – Enchanted, 232/204
Kicking off our list of the most valuable Whispers in the Well cards is this incredible atmospheric, beautifully illustrated Headless Horseman card. It’s a fantastic showcase for Lorcana in general, and really shows just how good the artwork is on these Disney-themed cards.
9. Malicious, Mean and Scary – Enchanted, 231/204
The thugs found in The Snuggly Duckling, a pub in Tangled, Disney’s animated retelling of Rapunzel, would like you to think they’re Malicious, Mean and Scary, but they’re not really. This card even shows them mid-song, revealing their softer sides! Despite that, the card effect, allowing its player to place 1 damage counter on each opposing character, is pretty effective. Not to mention mean!
8. Can’t Hold It Back Anymore – Enchanted, 228/204
From the very first Disney Lorcana set, Enchanted cards featuring Elsa have proven to be among the most popular. This Song card, Can’t Hold It Back Anymore, is another example, so it’s no surprise to see it on the list of the most valuable cards from Whispers in the Well!
7. Webby Vanderquack, Junior Prospector – Enchanted, 229/204
Duck Tales has been well covered in Disney Lorcana, with Webby Vanderquack being another character from the show (both the original and the 2017 reboot). It’s another Enchanted card, and there’s a good reason so many of them feature here: the rate at which Enchanted cards are found is 1 in every 72 packs, so they’re incredibly difficult to find!
6. Spooky Sight – Enchanted, 237/204
Is this the view of what The Headless Horseman is looking at in the earlier card on this list? Are we seeing what the scared Disney characters can see when we look up at the Spooky Sight of The Headless Horseman? That seems to be the case, so it’s cool that both of these Enchanted variants make it to the list of the most valuable Whispers in the Well cards!
5. Demona, Scourge of the Wyvern Clan – Enchanted, 227/204
Characters from the fndly remembered 90s Disney cartoon show, Gargoyles, feature a few times on this list, with Demona being the first. You won’t have to wait long to see the next one!
4. Goliath, Clan Leader – Enchanted, 238/204
That’s because it’s right next to Demona; say hello to Goliath, the second Gargoyles character on the list of the most valuable Whispers in the Well cards.
3. Cinderella, Dream Come True – Enchanted, 236/204
It’s no surprise to see this incredibly beautiful card so highly placed on this list; in fact, it’s the most valuable Enchanted card on this list overall. Cinderella is, like Elsa, another character who’s been featured heavily in Disney Lorcana from the beginning. She’s had her fair share of beautiful cards too, but in my opinion this is the best one yet.
2. Ariel, Ethereal Voice – Iconic, 241/204
From the release of Fabled, Disney Lorcana’s ninth set, there are now two Iconic cards in each set. Given that they’re even rarer than Enchanted cards, of course they’re now ending up in the top two slots of the most valuable cards lists!
1. Hades, Looking for a Deal – Iconic, 242/204
Here we have the most valuable Whispers in the Well card overall. Though you can’t tell from a digital image of an Iconic card, it’s not just their scarcity that makes them so appealing. It’s also the incredible raised textures and foiling on each card, which makes them even more visually stunning than Enchanted cards.
