Let’s cut right to the chase. For those who want efficiency in their Netrunner decks, Card Gamer brings you two new spoilers:

Realloc()

0 Cost HB Operation – Double

As an additional cost to play this operation, spend [click].

Chose 2 rezzed pieces of ice. For each chosen piece of ice, gain credits equal to its printed rez cost, then derez it.

All service will be indefinitely suspended by 11:59pm tonight. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Netrunner hasn’t had notable Corp derez effects in a while, and Realloc() is a modern-day reimagining of this effect. This lets us “re-buy” the rez cost of early ice, after we use them as early gearchecks or punishes, so we can rez nastier ice. This is a lower floor for the card, though. Spending a double operation just to gain back a couple of credits seems kind of inefficient. We have to go deeper.

Interestingly, we can derez a discounted Biawak from a Greenmail or Eminent Domain to just gain 14 credits. It might be justifiable at two influence. If we had other forced rez effects, this might just get out of hand. Welcome back Blue Sun!

Also consider effects such as Lightning Laboratory or discounts via Vovo Ozetti or Mahkota Langit Grid to get more juice out of the operation.

We can reuse on-rez effects such as Ablative Barrier, Anemone, Envelopment, or Logjam if the Runner chooses to run the server again.

I can see this being used in Asa Jukebox-style decks with multiple copies of Pulse.

Speaking of Harmonics…

Reverb

4 Rez 2 Strength HB ICE: Barrier – Harmonic

The rez cost of this ice is lowered by 1c for each other unrezzed piece of ice.

-> End the run.

-> End the run.

Everything in the Net is ultimately just information–light, sound, runners. If you can reflect any, you can reflect all.

Numbers-wise, this Barrier isn’t stellar. Its 2 Strength makes Maskirovka outclass it as an early, punishing gearcheck, but its ability allows us to rez it for a potentially lower cost; even free.

Fully OperationalFlood the Market decks, which rely on several remote servers with unrezzed ice, might get a significant discount.

I’m unsure how good this will be in rush decks, though some kind of Precision Design deck with Humanoid Resources could take advantage of this with multiple installs.

Reverb being Harmonic might have some implications for Thunderbolt Harmonic decks, which already focuses on derezzing ice. There’s also the Realloc() synergy, too!

Here are some sample decklists to get your gears turning:

Just A Bit of Spice

It’s a stock PD deck, but it uses the full Harmonic ice suite, with a miser’s copy of Realloc() to re-buy any on-rez effects we might need later down the line.

Spice Level: Moderate

We run three copies of Realloc() in this list to derez Logjam over and over. Humanoid Resources is a surefire way to get an face-up asset in Archives, while Manegarm Skunworks is a common Pinhole Threading target on the upgrade side. If that fails, we have Mitra Aman. Once we’ve built up Logjam to respectable numbers, we can just jam the agenda in the remote. The list is untested — a lean six-agenda suite means we’re playing a longer game, so there might be worries of decking out.

Obligatory Thunderbolt List

Thunderbolt Armaments is the deck most likely to use the Harmonic ice suite. With new friends such as Ansel 2.0, you now have more options to end friendships with your playgroup.

Time Is Money

The first two decks are more focused on using Realloc() to rebuy on-rez effects. In this Nuvem deck, we can derez ice such as Biawak to gain an insane amount of credits. We can use the economic advantage as leverage to pay for triple Measured Response later on, re-rez the same ice, or even play Myoshu. Naturally, the deck also plays triple Logjam so the same line from the previous deck exists here.

For the Sickos

Have you ever wanted to trigger Cloud Eater‘s on-rez effect twice in a single game? Unfortunately, it probably won’t happen, because the Runner’s never wandering into that server ever again. But that’s why we have See How They Run. This egg list has the same goodies as the usual tag-and-bag decks from the past year, but uses the newly-spoiled Unleash as an additional tag punishment option. Oh, we can also derez Anemone for more pain.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for Netrunner. Have fun brewing!

Vantage Point will release on March 2, 2026. For more information on the current incarnation of Netrunner, check out the Null Signal Games website.

Kenny Suzuki

Kenny (they/them) is a non-binary card game enjoyer of Philippine and Japanese descent. A two-time A Game of Thrones: The Living Card Game National Champion, they started playing Magic: The Gathering during the Zendikar Block and eventually switched to harder stuff, like Legacy and Modern. When not asleep, they are probably compulsively building new decks, working on their design brand, thrifting for pretty clothes, bringing their kpop photocards everywhere, touching grass, or playing Netrunner.
