The twelfth set for Disney Lorcana is named Wilds Unknown, and it’s arriving in the second quarter of 2026. With the set a few months away as of the time of writing, what do we know about it so far? Let’s check it out!
Wilds Unknown Is Themed Around Exploration
Not for the first time, Disney Lorcana is heading out into the wilderness and exploring. Though sets such as Into the Inklands also had an exploration theme, even introducing Locations, it’s been a while since we’ve gone on an adventure in this way with familiar Disney characters.
Many Pixar Characters Debut in Wilds Unknown
Can you believe that we’ve had 11 Disney Lorcana sets with no characters from Toy Story or The Incredibles? That changes with the arrival of Wilds Unknown, which has Woody and Buzz featured prominently on the set’s artwork. Mrs Incredible and Jack-Jack Parr from The Incredibles have also been revealed.
New Products Arrive With Wilds Unknown
The aforementioned Mrs Incredible and Buzz Lightyear head up the decks in the first ever 2-Player Starter Set for Disney Lorcana. This set is launching alongside Wilds Unknown, and is a fully ready-to-play package with deck boxes and counters included. The Mrs Incredible deck is Amethyst and Ruby, whereas Buzz Lightyear’s deck is Amber and Emerald.
This isn’t the only new product arriving when Wilds Unknown is launched. It seems incredible that this isn’t already part of the product range, as it is for any other trading card game, but Ravensburger are finally introducing a pre-release pack, which will allow players to play Pack Rush with friends immediately. It’s intended to give the flavor of a new set, using Pack Rush to play with two boosters per person.
What Is the Release Date for Wilds Unknown?
Pre-release events for Wilds Unknown will be happening from the 8th of May onwards. You can find events local to you using the official Disney Lorcana store locator. Full launch then follows on the 15th of May, 2026.
