In Star Wars Unlimited, you win by reducing your opponent’s base to zero HP. Your Base and Leader also determine the Aspects you can use in play without incurring cost penalties. Here are the Bases for Ashes of the Empire, with a choice of two in each Aspect color:

Star Wars Unlimited: Ashes of the Empire Token Card Gallery

There are two new token types for Ashes of the Empire: Mandalorian and Advantage.

Mandalorian tokens can be created using cards such as the Bo-Katan Kryze Leader, and arrive in play Shielded! Advantage replaces the Experience token entirely for Ashes of the Empire. It’s used when a unit attacks or defends once, and is then discarded. Finally, there’s the trusty Shield token, which has been in Star Wars Unlimited since the very first set.

What Else Is New in Ashes of the Empire?

Along with the new token types, the Support keyword also makes its debut. You can see this on the Leia Organa card shown above. When a card with Support is played, you may attack with another unit, which gains the Support card’s abilities. Which means that, if you play Leia Organa, you can then attack with another unit which gains her “On Attack” ability to deal 1 damage to itself, then heal 2 damage from your base.

When Is Ashes of the Empire Being Released?
