The modern incarnation of UniVersus used My Hero Academia as its starting point to be reintroduced to gamers. UniVersus has covered many different franchises since it first launched 20 years ago. However, My Hero Academia was the exclusive subject of UniVersus sets for a few years, and was the basis of the modern game.

Now, the climactic arc of the saga is being covered in UniVersus, with the release of the My Hero Academia: Final Battle Challenger Series decks.

As is often the case with the UniVersus Challenger Series, there are two different Final Battle decks: Heroes and Villains. The Heroes deck features Armored All Might and Izuku Modoriya. The Villains deck contains All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. Alongside each 60 card, ready to play deck in each pack is a collector booster, which features 6 random foil or alternate art cards.
