10 Most Valuable MTG: Reality Fracture Cards

In MTG's Reality Fracture, Jace Beleren is rewriting reality. Let's check out the most valuable cards in the Reality Fracture set!
MTG Most Valuable Reality Fracture Cards

Long-term fan favorite Planeswalker, Jace Beleren, is at the centre of the chaos in MTG’s Reality Fracture set. As Jace attempts to overwrite reality, his mind splits into fragments, with different parts of his personality in each one. Unfortunately, the dominant fragment is The Theorist, which features none of Jace’s empathy, and it’s this fragment which constructs a mirrored multiverse, warping reality to create its own, “perfect” reality. With such an interesting premise, which cards are the most valuable in MTG’s Reality Fracture set? Let’s find out!

10. Curse-Marred Demon (Borderless, Facet Foil) – Rare, 456

The Facet Foil cards in Reality Fracture feature a shattered mirror effect, with a unique foil treatment. Within this mirror, an iconic MTG card can be glimpsed, and the overall card itself becomes a twisted new version of the classic card. You’ll see several of these on this list, which begins with the Facet Foil variant of Curse-Marred Demon. This card reimagines the classic Rune-Scarred Demon.

9. Ingris Stingerquill (Showcase, Fracture Foil) – Mythic, 419

Showcase cards in MTG feature art which reflects a set’s overall theme. With Reality Fracture, that means stunning, almost abstract art featuring characters from the set. This psychedelic card features the Elder Sphinx, Ingris Stingerquill. The card itself has a Fracture Foil treatment, which has a shattered-glass effect that’s perfect for Reality Fracture!

8. Kwia Vigorbloom (Showcase, Fracture Foil) – Mythic, 420

Unless you’ve seen the standard variant of Kwia Vigorbloom, it can be really hard to know exactly what you’re looking at here. Though in fairness, even if you have seen the original card, this Elder Sphinx still feels a like an abstract creature! Another Fracture Foil-treated, Showcase variant, the trippy art on this card makes it well worth seeking out.

7. Emrakul, the Exigent Doom (Showcase, Fracture Foil) – Mythic, 413

The standard variant of Emrakul, the Exigent Doom has the distinction of being Reality Fracture card 0001. As a Mythic Rare card, even the less hard-to-find variants are commanding relatively high prices. However, the most sought after is this Showcase, Fracture Foil variant of the Eldrazi Creature, with a stunning color scheme and gorgeous foil treatment.

6. Craterclaw Colossus (Borderless, Facet Foil) – Mythic, 455

Just about halfway through the list of the most valuable Reality Fracture cards, it’s Facet Foil cards almost all the way down from here! The Craterclaw Colossus is a reimagining of the iconic Craterhoof Behemoth card.

5. Return to the Light Realms (Borderless, Facet Foil) – Mythic, 451

The shattering mirror aspect of Reality Fracture is illustrated brilliantly with this card. Return to the Light Realm brings the classic Liliana Vess from Swamp to Plains, Black to White, with this reimagined illustration.

4. Darklight Phoenix (Borderless, Facet Foil) – Mythic, 453

Arclight Phoenix is the card being updated and remixed here, certain variants of which can command very high prices. However, right now, the Borderless, Facet Foil variant of Darklight Phoenix has soared to some seriously costly values!

3. Hexhaven Invigorator (Borderless, Facet Foil) – Mythic, 458

This stunning card takes Phyrexian Obliterator and dials the visuals up to 11. It’s no wonder that this Facet Foil card sits so highly on the list of the most valuable Reality Fracture cards, with its striking aesthetic. One thing that’s worth noting about these cards at this point is that they aren’t always particularly playable, given how the mirror elements cover up card text. That said, surely only the wealthiest players would even think of adding these cards to their decks?

2. The Theorist, Jace Beleren (Showcase, Fracture Foil) – Mythic, 415

This Showcase card featuring the Reality Fracture set’s main character, Jace Beleren. It’s also notable for featuring Jace as The Theorist, who’s responsible for the creation of the Echoverse, and leads to former allies turning against him. The art is almost anime in its style, and we’re glad to see it ranked so highly on the list of the most valuable Reality Fracture cards!

1. Omnipresence (Borderless, Facet Foil) – Mythic, 459

Finally, we have Omnipresence, in its Facet Foil variant. Once again showing that these cards aren’t exactly playable, but they do go all out on being absolutely stunning to look at. Seeing any of these cards digitally doesn’t compare to seeing the actual layered, textured, foiled card in person, so if you do manage to get your hands on one, you’ll see that for yourself! This card, which twists Omniscience into something new, is currently the most valuable card overall in the Reality Fracture set!

Bonus Entry: Bloodline Recollector (Serialized) – Mythic, 402

Image credit: Wizards of the Coast

Bloodline Recollector is serialized, with each copy of the 500 cards printed being individually numbered. The aspects of this card don’t end there though; it also features an iconic retro frame and double rainbow foil too, making for a card that’s as striking as it is collectible. We haven’t seen these listed for sale on TCGplayer as of the time of writing, which is why it doesn’t appear as a ranked entry. However, with there only being 500 of these in the world, we know it’s destined to be the most sought after, and expensive, card in the Reality Fracture set!
