The 19th set for Flesh and Blood, Omens of the Third Age introduces three Lightning Heroes and a new token type, Lightning Flow. Let’s take a look at the most valuable cards in Omens of the Third Age!
Table of Contents
Toggle10. Runechant of Envy – Marvel, IAR152-MV

It seems that the Runechant cards in Omens of the Third Age, in their Marvel rarities, have become pretty sought after. This Runechant of Envy card, with its yellow pitch type above the title, is the first of many you’ll see on this list.
9. Third Eye of the Sphinx – Legendary, OMN140

It’s unusual to have a card on a most valuable Flesh and Blood cards list which isn’t a Marvel rarity. However, here we are with the Legendary card, Third Eye of the Sphinx. What that usually tells you is that this card is sought after not just for its rarity or art, but for its usefulness in game.
8. Runechant of Wrath – Marvel, IAR157-MV

Another yellow pitch card, this Runechant of Wrath is the second card of this type to feature on this list. We told you that these yellow Runechant cards were popular, didn’t we? Of course, this one is also the Marvel rarity.
7. Runechant of Greed – Marvel, IAR145-MV

Yet another yellow, Marvel rarity Runechant card appears here. This time it’s the Runechant of Greed, and it’s worth noting that yellow cards are seen as the more balanced of the three pitch colors; due to this, however, they tend to be used less than the red or blue cards, which tend to be a bit more focused.
6. Oscilio, Forked Continuum – Marvel, OMN094

The first of the three Lightning Hero cards is here, with Oscilio, Forked Continuum. A Lightning Wizard, Oscilio is here as a Marvel card, with a striking illustration that perfectly shows why fans are clamoring to add this card to their collection!
5. Zyggy Starlight – Marvel, OMN001

No, that’s not David Bowie. Though being named Zyggy Starlight does make this Hero a very thinly veiled homage to the late, great artist. The second of the three Lightning Heroes, Zyggy is a Lightning Illusionist.
4. Aurora, Legacy of Tempest – Marvel, OMN047

Here we have the third Lightning Hero. Aurora is a Lightning Runeblade Hero, and her Marvel card, just like Zyggy’s and Oscilio’s before her, is a truly stunning piece of art. Again, it doesn’t surprise us that fans are keen to get their hands on this card!
3. Gate to i’Arathael – Marvel, IAR222-MV

A double-sided token card, the Gate to i’Arathael features its card text on one side, and a second side which shows off its impressive artwork even more. Of course, this is a borderless Marvel card, making it rare and highly sought after; perhaps it’s strange to see this ranked above the set’s Hero cards, but it’s currently in very high demand,
2. Voltaris – Fabled, OMN000

It’s even stranger to see a card right near the top of the list which isn’t at the Marvel rarity level, but here we are with this Fabled Voltaris card. It’s the only card on the list with a blue, rather than yellow, pitch color too. Of course, we can see why; when pitched, this card creates a Lightning Flow token. Which makes it pretty desirable, even at less than Marvel rarity!
1. Baalghor, Omen of the End – Marvel, IAR159-MV

Finally, we have the Shadow Hero, Baalghor. A double-sided card, it’s notable for being only available in the Marvel rarity, which means it’s incredibly scarce and very desirable indeed. So it makes perfect sense to see this card right at the top of the list!
