Archazia’s Island Enchanted Rare Card Gallery
In addition to the main cards in any Disney Lorcana set, there are also extremely rare cards with special foil treatments and full card art, known as Enchanted Rares. These cards are so rare that they’re found at the rate of just 1 in every 72 booster packs, and as such are highly sought after by Disney Lorcana fans. Enchanted cards are numbered above the ‘official’ number of cards in a set; to explain, while there are 204 cards designated for Archazia’s Island, there are actually 222 cards overall, with Enchanted Rare cards numbered from 205-222. What’s New in Archazia’s Island?
One big new element of Archazia’s Island which has caused a lot of excitement at Card Gamer is the introduction of Lorcana’s first dual Ink type cards. You can see in the card gallery that a number of dual Ink type cards have been revealed; amongst many others, there’s Amber and Emerald Lady, a version of Jafar which is Amethyst and Steel, and an Amethyst/Sapphire Sven. In the gallery and in the image above, you can see a version of Beast, along with a new Belle; these two examples each have Ruby and Sapphire Ink types. Though we don’t have any insight as to how this will affect deck building, we suspect that the two color limit per deck will apply, and that both colors on a dual Ink card will need to be the only colors used.
Pets are also a focus in Archazia’s Island, and the super-powered dog, Bolt, is due to make his debut in the set (multiple times, it seems!), alongside characters from Lady and the Tramp, along with many others that can be seen in the above gallery. Though we expected to also see the debut of the set’s original owl character, Archazia, it appears that they aren’t part of the Archazia’s Island set.
What Is the Release Date for Archazia’s Island?
Release dates for previous Lorcana sets have all followed the same pattern; they’re released in local game and hobby stores first, then they reach online and national, general retailers two weeks later. Archazia’s Island will be released in the same way; local, specialist stores will have the set’s products on sale on March 7th, 2025, and a more general release will follow on March 21st.
