Hellbreak Smile Reveals

Highly anticipated horror-themed trading card game, Hellbreak, already has its fair share of terrifying monsters in its first set, Dawn of Terror. Yet publishers Spin Master have revealed another, with The Monstrosity from the Smile franchise now being added to the lineup! Let’s check out Hellbreak’s newly revealed cards.

The Monstrosity and Other Smile Cards

The seven Smile-themed cards we’ve now seen include The Monstrosity, in its Lurking and Unleashed forms. We also have its location, Herald Square Garden:

Next up, we have two Events and two Minion cards. These do a great job of showcasing just how far Hellbreak will go in terms of its horror content; there’s certainly no punches pulled here. Just check out the full-on gore on the Dr. Desai card:

So we now have a total of seven Monsters for Hellbreak’s first set, Dawn of Terror. The Monstrosity joins Dracula, Jason Voorhees, Jaws, the Death Angels, The Bride and The Headless Horseman to complete the lineup.

“We’ve set out to create an unprecedented lineup of horror IP for Hellbreak to deliver a trading card game experience like no other,” said Doug Wadleigh, Spin Master’s President, Toys. “Adding Paramount Pictures’ deep catalogue of terrifying monsters will elevate the gameplay experience and we’re eager to see how players use these iconic characters when building their decks.”

Hellbreak Dawn of Terror Booster Box

More than 200 cards will be included in the Hellbreak: Dawn of Terror set, which launches in January 2027. Future expansions will include more from Universal Pictures; I have my claws crossed for Creature From the Black Lagoon! AMC Global Media, Blumhouse and Lionsgate will also be joining Universal and Paramount, with plenty of extra horror icons who’ll soon be joining the fray!
