Can you believe that there have already been 12 Disney Lorcana sets, as of the release of Wilds Unknown? With Lorcana’s 12th set, we’re taken on an adventure deep into unexplored territory, with a largely Pixar-themed cast of characters. Let’s take a look at the most valuable cards in Disney Lorcana: Wilds Unknown!
10. Mrs Incredible, Determined Rescuer – Enchanted, 239/204
As we mentioned in our introduction, Wilds Unknown features plenty of characters who originated in Pixar movies. This list is full of some of the most recognizable and iconic characters from Pixar’s animated oeuvre! Kicking off our list is Mrs Incredible, from The Incredibles, with an Enchanted Rare card that shows off her stretchy powers.
9. Syndrome, Out for Revenge – Enchanted, 238/204
Just about all of the cards on this list (except two, as you’ll see) are at the Enchanted rarity level. These are very scarce, and as such very desirable. You’re likely to find Enchanted cards in 1 out of every 72 packs, so you can see why these cards are so highly sought after. This one features Syndrome, the wannabe apprentice turned villain from The Incredibles.
8. Jack-Jack Parr, Incredible Potential – Enchanted, 232/204
It seems that Lorcana fans are really keen to get their hands on cards featuring characters from Pixar’s superhero saga, The Incredibles. This one features the family’s youngest child, Jack-Jack, whose remarkable power set makes him arguably the most incredible Incredible of them all!
7. Frozone, Super Cool – Enchanted, 226/204
Best friend of Mr Incredible, Frozone is an ice-manipulating character who oozes cool, in more ways than one. The Wilds Unknown Enchanted cards are genuinely stunning with their stylized, detailed and colorful imagery. Though we’re always impressed by how aesthetically stunning Enchanted Lorcana cards have been, this set really takes them to the next level.
6. Mr Incredible, Super Strong – Enchanted, 234/204
The final Incredibles character to appear on this list is family man Mr Incredible, a super strong hero. You’ll notice that this, and every other card on this list, is numbered above the “official” number of cards in the Wilds Unknown set. This is card 234 of 204, which can be confusing if you don’t know how trading card games and their numbering systems work. Basically, cards which go above the standard numbering are “Secret Rare” cards. These are alternate art, specially treated cards which offer special variants on other, standard cards in any given set.
5. Jessie, Lively Cowgirl – Enchanted, 223/204
You’ll note that Toy Story and its characters are heavily represented from here on! First up is this card featuring the once-neglected cowgirl, Jessie.
4. Alien, True Believer – Enchanted, 229/204
Up next is one of the adorable Aliens from Toy Story. The reference to being chosen by a claw, is a very clever homage to the character’s origins.
3. You’ve Got a Friend in Me – Enchanted, 225/204
It’s double trouble on this card, with both Woody and Buzz featured. The card’s title references Randy Newman’s iconic song from the Toy Story franchise.
2. Merida, Formidable Archer – Iconic, 242/204
A slight diversion here, with the first Iconic Rare card, and the only character from a non-Incredibles or Toy Story movie. There are just two different Iconic cards in each Disney Lorcana set, and this rarity level was introduced in Fabled. They’re even rarer and harder to find than Enchanted cards, though we don’t know the exact pull rate. This one features Merida, the main character from Brave.
1. Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Ranger – Iconic, 241/204
Finally, the most valuable Wilds Unknown card overall right now is the Buzz Lightyear Iconic Rare variant. It’s an absolutely spectacular card, and it’s clear to see why this is the one that is commanding the highest prices!
