Today Bandai took to social media to reveal 2025 plans for some of their games, including Digimon. They previewed several new cards from previously announced upcoming sets, as well as plans for new sets coming later this year. Let’s take a look.

Special Booster Ver 2.5 – New Booster Set Coming February 28, 2025
Among the details dropped today were several previews of cards coming next month in the Special Booster Ver 2.5 set. These are Bebydomon, Dracomon, Ryudamon, and Dorumon.
Other details were revealed about the set.
The set’s release date is February 28, 2025, with an MSRP of $4.99. Packs will contain 12 cards, and the set has 174 cards.
The serial number cards for the set are WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.
Yuuki is previewed in this image, along with the announcement of the Celebration Event for the set happening February 21 – March 7.
Starter Decks Protector of Light and Hero of Hope – Releasing April 18, 2025
Bandai gave us some new details on the upcoming Digimon Starter Decks releasing on April 18th. The MSRP of these decks is $15.99 each. Each deck will contain 54 cards, as well as six promo cards, two playsheets, and three indexes.
The decks will feature popular characters from the anime Digimon Adventure.
The Scramble cards of each color are included and will have new illustrations.
World Convergence – New Digimon Booster Set Releasing April 25, 2025
New details were also revealed for Digimon‘s spring booster set, World Convergence, which releases on April 25th. Boosters will have an MSRP of $4.99, and contain 12 cards. The set has 114 card types.
Many Digimon and tamers from past anime series are included in this set.
A new keyword ability, Link, is included in this set.
Two champions from Digimon Liberator are included in the set.
The set will include foil processed signed cards from seven illustrators.
Each booster box purchase will have a bonus pack, with one of these six Digimon included.
The serial number card for the set is Omnimon.
Versus Monsters – New Extra Booster Set Releasing June 26, 2025
We also got a few details on an Extra Booster Set they’ll be releasing in June, called Versus Monsters. The set releases on June 26, with an MSRP of $4.99. A booster contains 12 cards, and there are 79 cards in the set.
Digimon from the Digital Monster LCD game will become cards in this set.
Two More Booster Sets Announced – Cyber Eden and Sinister Order
Set name and release dates were also given for two Digimon releases coming later this year. Cyber Eden is a full booster set that will release on July 25, 2025, and Sinister Order is an Extra set that will come on September 19, 2025.
