The last few years have been huge for UniVersus, with lots of massive franchises, from across the pop culture spectrum, making appearances in the TCG. Even more are on the way in 2027, and we’re very excited about what’s in store. Let’s take a look at the details that publisher UVS Games have revealed!
Booster Sets
Not all franchises get the full booster set treatment, which include booster packs, starter decks and more. Yet in 2027, we’re going to see multiple properties appearing in booster sets, including tabletop gaming behemoth Warhammer 40,000, comic book phenomenon Invincible and yet another Critical Role set, based on the show’s Bells Hells campaign. Warhammer 40,000’s product range will include a 2-player Starter Deck, which is perfect to introduce new players to UniVersus.
Challenger Series
Long-running manga series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure will feature on Challenger Series decks based on Golden Wind and Stone Ocean. Mike Mignola’s awesome comic book character, the demonic, reluctant hero (or should that be reluctantly demonic?) Hellboy, will also be featuring on two Challenger Series decks. UniVersus will also play host to two Challenger Series releases based on video game Persona 5 Royal. You can check out the UniVersus 2027 Roadmap trailer below:
