The Quarter Century Secret Rare is a newer rarity that was introduced for the 25th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh. There are more than 300 different Quarter Century Secret Rare cards as of mid-2024, so they may be sticking around for a lot longer than we initially thought!
What Sets Will The Quarter Century Secret Rare Be In?
The Quarter Century Secret Rare rarity was first made available in Battle of Legend: Monstrous Revenge, a booster set releasing in June 2023, but the rarity also made an appearance in the Legendary Collection, a set reprinting six booster packs of classic Yu-Gi-Oh sets.
In terms of main Yu-Gi-Oh cards though, we first saw the rarity in Duelist Nexus, a set launching in July of 2023. Since then, we’ve seen this rarity pop up in numerous sets, and it’s proven very popular among collectors.
What Cards Are Available As Quarter Century Secret Rares?
Some of the initial cards that were printed as Quarter Century Secret Rares were as follows:
- Rite of Aramesir
- Welcome Labynth
- Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS- Sky Thunder
- Pot Of Greed
- Ash Blossom and Joyous Spring
- Dark Magician
- Blue-Eyes White Dragon
- Red-Eyes Black Dragon
- The Winged Dragon of Ra
- Slifer the Sky Dragon
- Obelisk the Tormentor
Generally, these are all cards that either have an important place in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime or in the Yu-Gi-Oh card game itself, but this isn’t all of the cards that will be available in the new rarity, as the list has expanded significantly since the first sets were released!
