The first set for Riftbound, the upcoming League of Legends Trading Card Game, is named Origins, and it’s due to be released in October 2025. In Riftbound, players will need to choose a Legend character card, which determines the Rune colors they can use in their deck. The Legend also has their own special ability, and this will form the basis of the entire strategy that players will be looking to create as they build their deck. As such, the Legend is perhaps the most important choice for players to make when putting together their Riftbound deck, so let’s take a look at each Legend that’ll be available when Origins is released!
Riftbound Origins: Legend Card Gallery
There are 12 different Legends in Riftbound Origins. Though there are likely to be alternate art variations on each card, in terms of their in-game abilities, the variants won’t differ from the cards shown below. Here are all 12 Legends from the Riftbound Origins set:

Each Legend card will also have their own Champion Unit card, one of which must also be built into the player’s deck, and will start the game face up next to the Legend card, on the owner’s play area. Note that it’s permitted for up to 3 copies of the Champion Unit to be included in the deck, but only 1 starts the game face up and in play. Note also that there are variants of each named Champion, so it’s perfectly possible to build around different combos, strategies and synergies too!
Each Legend has a Signature Spell too; though these aren’t mandatory, they’re helpful and will often take advantage of the Legend and/or Champion’s abilities to great effect.
We’ll feature each Legend, along with their accompanying Champions and Signature Spells, in an upcoming feature, so watch this space! In the meantime, check out our first impressions of Riftbound, and the list of Riftbound Origins cards that have been revealed so far!
