The Pokémon Black Bolt and White Flare’s dual set release is something we haven’t seen for a while. The simultaneous release of two sets that feature their own distinct cards, including their own Secret Rares, is pretty exciting. We’ve seen Black Bolt and White Flare’s Japanese cards already (check out the full card list), but it’s important to note that, when sets launch outside of Japan, they’re never exactly the same cards, so it’s worth looking at what we can expect from our booster packs. Let’s cast our eyes over the cards revealed for Black Bolt and White Flare so far!

Black Bolt cards have the set code BLK, which is found in the bottom left corner of each card. You’ll also note that each card has a number to the right of its set code; there are 86 cards in Black Bolt’s main set, though Secret Rare cards (such as the Zekrom ex below) are numbered above the “designated” number of cards in a set. Secret Rare cards are variants of cards in the main set; they’re always the most visually spectacular and sought after cards:

The set code for White Flare cards is WHT; it can be seen in the bottom left of each card as normal. Just as in Black Bolt, there are 86 cards in the White Flare set, and the full art, foil treated Secret Rare cards are numbered from 87 onwards. Let’s take a look at all of the White Flare Pokémon cards revealed so far:
