Riftbound: Unleashed Card List (So Far)

With spoiler season well and truly underway for Riftbound: Unleashed, which cards and mechanics have been revealed so far? Let's find out!
Riftbound Unleashed Card List

Spoiler season for Riftbound’s third set, Unleashed, has begun. With cards popping up everywhere, we thought it’d be helpful to have all of the revealed cards in one place. Let’s check out which Riftbound cards have been Unleashed so far!

Riftbound: Unleashed Main Set Card Gallery

The cards in Riftbound: Unleashed have the set code UNL. You can find this on the bottom left of each card, alongside the card number. The card number shows us that there will be 219 cards in the Unleashed set, not including “Overnumber” cards, which we’ll separate into their own gallery:

Riftbound: Unleashed Overnumber Card Gallery

Overnumber cards begin at 220. Hence the name overnumber; they’re all cards numbered over the “official” number of cards in the set. Overnumber cards are “secret”, alternate art cards with special treatments, which are always the most highly sought after cards in any set. Overnumber cards marked with an asterisk in their card number are even rarer and more special, as they feature a stamped signature by the card’s artist:

Riftbound: Unleashed Token Card Gallery

Any card with a “T” card number is a token. There are even some battlefield cards in Unleashed which are classified as tokens (there’s more on this in our “What’s New in Riftbound: Unleashed?” section). Here are all of the tokens we’ve seen so far:

What’s New in Riftbound: Unleashed?

The biggest and most exciting new mechanic in Riftbound: Unleashed is XP. Staying true to the video game origins of Riftbound (which is based in the universe of the hugely popular online game, League of Legends), XP allows players to level up, improve their stats and widen their options, with each point of XP gained by a card equal to 1 level. So once the Mosstomper card above has 3 XP, level 3 is attained; that means it can then use its level 3 abilities! In some cases, cards can also spend XP to use extra abilities.

The new Hunt keyword allows cards to gain XP, and you can see this on the Mosstomper too. In the example of the Mosstomper once more, it has Hunt 2; when conquering or holding a battlefield, it gains 2 XP. XP can be tracked using the above token card.

Remember the battlefield token cards? Those are brought into play when you play certain units. For example, the Baron Nashor card, when played, also brings the Baron Pit battlefield card to the board!

Though Deflect isn’t a new keyword, the Bird token is a new addition to Riftbound, and other cards will be able to bring these into play. Reflection is another example of a card which will be brought into play by different units or legends.

Finally, the Ambush keyword also makes its debut in Unleashed. Ambush allows a player to play a unit directly to a battlefield where they already have units, and this can be played as a Reaction too.
