The Twin Suns decks for Star Wars are another excellent, clever addition to Star Wars Unlimited’s product range. Built for multiplayer games, rather than 1-on-1, they demonstrate once more how strong Star Wars Unlimited’s versatile, “play first” design philosophy is. Other games may have an equal focus on collecting and play, or skew too far in the other direction, but Star Wars Unlimited has, from day one, focused on making its gameplay accessible and flexible for all kinds of players. The Twin Suns decks feature exclusive cards, designed just for the multiplayer format. So let’s take a look at all of the exclusive cards revealed for the Twin Suns decks so far!

What Twin Suns Decks Will Be Available?

There are four Twin Suns decks; each features two Leaders (as is the requirement for the Twin Suns format), and they’re all themed around The Clone Wars era of Star Wars. Which means we have decks headed up by Anakin and Padmé, Asajj Ventress and Count Dooku, Rex and Ahsoka, then finally Savage Opress and Maul. With deckbuilding rules being so different in Twin Suns compared to the standard, 1-on-1 formats of Star Wars Unlimited, these decks are built to be fully playable in Twin Suns, and also perfectly tuned to be balanced against each other.
Of course, there’s nothing at all stopping you from using your existing Star Wars Unlimited card collection to put together your own Twin Suns deck, which needs 2 Leaders, 1 Base and a minimum of 80 cards. Importantly, only 1 copy of any card is allowed in a Twin Suns deck, including Leaders, Units and all other card types.
