Twin Suns Decks Incoming for Star Wars Unlimited

Four new, pre-constructed decks for Twin Suns, the multiplayer format of Star Wars Unlimited, are on the way. Let's take a look at them!
Twin Suns Key Art Star Wars Unlimited

One of the most impressive elements of Star Wars Unlimited, which many casual fans may not realise, is just how solidly built the game is for playing in different ways. With booster packs built from the ground up to support sealed and draft play with minimal investment, it’s been one of the most cleverly constructed TCGs from day one. Even fewer people may realise that there’s also an official, multiplayer variant of Star Wars Unlimited named Twin Suns (named for the saga’s famous, dual-sunned planet of Tatooine) which allows for more than 2 players to take each other on at the same time. Now the Twin Suns format is going to be receiving official decks, which is pretty exciting for Star Wars Unlimited fans who are keen to try out this special way to play the latest Star Wars TCG.

What are the Twin Suns Decks?

It’s worth noting that Twin Suns plays notably differently to standard Star Wars Unlimited; players need two Leaders for their deck, and deckbuilding rules are also changed from the norm, necessitating different approaches to the game. This is perhaps a barrier to players wanting to give the format a shot, so having the ability to try out pre-constructed decks specially made for the format will likely be a big help. The four Twin Suns decks are pictured above; each of them features Leaders and cards based around a Clone Wars-era setting. So first up, there’s Aggressive Negotiations, headed up by Anakin and Padmé. Next is Master and Apprentice, featuring Asajj Ventress and Count Dooku. There’s Rex and Ahsoka as the Leaders for Against the Odds, and finally we have Maul and Savage Opress for the Blood Brothers deck.

Each deck will feature exclusive cards that won’t be popping up in the standard sets of Star Wars Unlimited; nor will they be legal for standard, Premier format play. Take a look at this Twin Suns-exclusive Gar Saxon, for example:
