Despite having been around for more than a quarter of a century, Yu-Gi-Oh! has only just debuted its first serialized cards, in the Magnificent Monsters set. Serialized cards are cards which are so limited that each one is stamped with an individual number. There are 18 Grand Master Rare cards to be found in Yu-Gi-Oh! Magnificent Monsters. Each one is stamped with a specific number out of 100, as only 100 of each card exists per region, as you can see above. Every Grand Master Rare card reimagines an iconic card with new abilities. Are Grand Master Rare Cards Valuable?
Due to their scarcity, Grand Master Rare cards are very valuable, and are likely to increase in price over the years. They can, however, still be found in Magnificent Monsters booster packs. At the time of writing, not all Grand Master Rare cards have been discovered, so you still have a chance to find them! You can buy Magnificent Monsters booster packs in box sets which contain three packs each.
Of course, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Magnificent Monsters set offers much more than just Grand Master Rare cards to find. There are 20 new or alt art cards, 10 chibi-style alt art cards and 6 new boss monsters. Additionally, 40 cards have been upgraded to foil for the first time, and there are 40 reprinted cards too. Don’t fret if you can’t find a Grand Master Rare; each of the cards at that rarity level can also be found as an Ultra Rare, extended art Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare too. So even if you’re not lucky, or rich, enough to get yourself a Grand Master Rare, you will hopefully not miss out on the cards at that particularly scarce rarity level.
