As Origins introduced Riftbound to the world, it needed to make a great first impression. With the Proving Grounds set releasing to teach up to four players how to play, alongside the main set providing more seasoned TCG fans with their first experience of the game, it did this spectacularly. Impressive card art, clever mechanics and plenty of chase cards ensured that Riftbound arrived with a bang!

    2. Riftbound: Spiritforged (February 13th, 2026)

Building on the successful foundations of Riftbound: Origins, Spiritforged arrived in February 2026 with new card types, keywords and more spectacular art. Equipment cards and Gold tokens were introduced in Spiritforged, alongside the keywords Quick-Draw, Repeat and Weaponmaster.

    3. Riftbound: Unleashed (May 8th, 2026)

One of the most exciting elements of Riftbound’s third set, Unleashed, was the entirely new card rarity. Baron Nashor was the very first card in Riftbound tohave an Ultimate variant, which featured exclusive artwork and a genuinely impressive layered, textured and foil treatment. Unleashed also introduced XP, allowing your cards to level up!

    4. Riftbound: Vendetta (July 31st, 2026)

A gorgeous, Crystal Rose subset of cards featured in Riftbound: Vendetta, along with more new keywords: Flow, Burn and Empower. Vendetta also marked the first time that sets were released in Chinese and English simultaneously, with Chinese fans having previously getting their hands on sets months ahead of the West!

    5. Riftbound: Radiance (October 23rd, 2026)

Marking the first anniversary of Riftbound’s original release, Radiance is a spectacularly colorful set with a focus on performance and music. It features the second Ultimate rarity card, along with three new keywords. Those keywords are Deploy, Disarm and Show Off. With more special card subsets and incredibly impressive variants, this set brings year one of Riftbound to a close in a big way.
