After debuting at Gen Con 2026, Bandai Namco have announced that the Naruto Card Game will launch in June 2027. Three Starter Decks will be available at launch: Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Gaara. The first booster set will be named Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!. Ahead of launch, in-store Premier Demo Events will begin in February 2027, and an impressive campaign will roll out globally, distributing 1 million Demo Decks, from Spring 2027.

The reveal at New York Comic Con was accompanied by the public premiere of a new teaser, featuring original

Each Starter Deck is pre-constructed and ready to play. They’re each built around a different Leader, and the decks feature their own, unique lineup of ninjas and different, strategic play style. The Enter: Naruto Uzumaki! booster set will feature characters from the original Naruto series, as well as Naruto Shippuden.

With Leader cards, a draw deck and decks of resources, in this case Chakra and Summon cards, the basic design and aesthetic seem similar to another Bandai game, One Piece. In fact, most of Bandai’s games share similar aesthetics, making the Naruto Card Game feel at once new and familiar to long term Bandai card game fans. Of course, it does have unique elements of its own, so there’ll still be a learning process; the familiar visual design and basic mechanics should definitely help to ease players in, however.

We’re very excited to get our hands on the Naruto Card Game, and as soon as we have more updates for you, we’ll be sure to let you know!
