The penultimate Yu-Gi-Oh! set of 2025, Doom of Dimensions has been inspired by Declan Akaba’s D/D/D deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! series, Arc-V. What are the most valuable cards in the set? Let’s find out!
Table of Contents
Toggle10. Radiant Typhoon Krosea – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN015

You’ll see a lot of Starlight Rare cards on this list, given that this specific card rarity is particularly scarce. They’re estimated to be found at the rate of one Starlight Rare card per 120 booster boxes. That’s right, not one in every 120 booster packs; one in every 120 booster boxes! So it’s no wonder that there are so many of them on the list of the most valuable Doom of Dimensions cards, starting with this Radiant Typhoon Krosea card.
9. Radiant Typhoon Chant – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN061

As you can see just from the first few cards on the list, this Radiant Typhoon Chant included, it’s very difficult to see the artwork on an image of a Starlight Rare card. Of course, that problem isn’t present in person when looking at the physical card. What makes a Starlight Rare so special, rarity aside, is that the horizontal, holographic foil pattern covers the entire card, aside from the text box, title, any unused link arrows and some parts of the artwork, to make it truly pop.
8. D/D/D Zero Doom Queen Machinex – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN003

Pronounced as “Triple D” in the English dub of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, D/D/D is a sub-archetype of another archetype, D/D. This archetype is famous for being used by Declan in the Arc-V series. Given that Doom of Dimensions is based around Declan’s deck, it’s no surprise to see cards like this popping up in the set, or on this list!
7. MarshmaoYummy – Secret Rare, DOOD-EN024

Looking much more like a Pokémon character who’s wandered into Yu-Gi-Oh! by mistake, MarshmaoYummy is the only non-Starlight Rare card on this list. That’s clearly a testament to the popularity of this sweet, squishy monster! So, how rare are Secret Rare cards exactly? Well, they’re nowhere near as scarce as Starlight Rares, being found at a rate of roughly one in every 12 packs. That’s three per booster box of 36 packs. Of course, that doesn’t mean you’ll get the exact Secret Rare you want, even if you find one; which explains why MarshmaoYummy is so sought after even as a Secret Rare. Something tells me we haven’t seen the last of this Beast either!
6. Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Thunderbolt – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN026

Critics of Yu-Gi-Oh! often point to dated card design and the “wall of text” that you’ll find on the most powerful and elaborate of cards. However, there’s certainly something to be said for the fact that, barring banned and restricted cards, pretty much any card from any era of Yu-Gi-Oh!, right back to the beginning, is legal for use in organized play. Though the game’s detractors do have a point, it’s certainly the case that card foil treatments and illustrations are much more impressive in contemporary sets, and the same is true of this Dogmatika Fleurdelis card in its Starlight Rare variant.
5. Garden Rose Maiden – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN101

The point about gorgeous artwork applies to just about every card on this list, but especially so to this ethereally beautiful Garden Rose Maiden card. Its Starlight Rare variant adds an extra, spectacular sparkle to the card too!
4. Dracotail Phryxul – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN023

Some of the cards on this list are quite a mouthful in terms of their names, Dracotail Phryxul is no exception. Of course, it’s another Starlight Rare from the Doom of Dimensions set, and just like the somewhat tongue-twisting Dogmatika Fleurdelis card, it’s also a Spellcaster.
3. Dominus Spiral – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN079

Perhaps my favorite card on the list in terms of its artwork, Dominus Spiral is absolutely stunning to look at, and it’s no surprise to see it so highly ranked on the list of the most valuable cards from Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Doom of Dimensions set!
2. K9-04 Noroi – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN025

The only Machine type card on this list, K9-04 Noroi is pretty spectacular; a striking portrait of the character on an abstract background, with the Starlight Rare foil treatment giving it an extra layer of panache.
1. MarshmaoYummy – Starlight Rare, DOOD-EN024

Finally, here’s our friend MarshmaoYummy again, this time in a Starlight Rare variant. Given how valuable even the Secret Rare card variant of this card is, it is no shock at all to see the same card right at the top of our list of the most valuable Doom of Dimensions cards!
