Following the release of Black Bolt and White Flare, the latest dual sets to be released in Japan are Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia. These sets bring Mega Pokémon back to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (or TCG) for the first time in many years. Let’s take a look at which cards fans are most keen to get their hands on in the Mega Symphonia set.
Table of Contents
Toggle10. Stufful – Art Rare, 075/063

Nestling comfortably in a warmly glowing light is Stufful, our number 10 card. An Art Rare variant, this Mega Symphonia card is absolutely adorable, and it’s easy to see why it made it to the list of the most valuable cards in the set!
9. Wally’s Compassion – Super Rare, 085/063

Trainer cards are almost always found in lists of the most valuable cards in any given Pokémon set; especially cards with an anime style illustration. So it’s not a surprise to see Wally’s Compassion here at all. This card, with a vibrant, primarily blue and green color scheme, is a worthy inclusion as one of the most valuable cards in the Mega Symphonia set!
8. Alakazam – Art Rare, 071/063

The spoon bending, Psychic type, Alakazam, is one of the original 151 Pokémon. Having debuted in the first ever Game Boy Pokémon titles, he’s hugely popular to this day. Of course, his appearance in Art Rare form on this list definitely proves how popular this Pokémon remains!
7. Mega Manectric ex – Super Rare, 077/063

The Super Rare cards featuring Pokémon will often have a striking visual design, with minimal colors and an illustration showcasing a Pokémon in the foreground, along with another in almost-silhouette in the background. This Mega Manectric ex follows that description exactly, and it’s an incredible attention grabber of a card!
6. Mega Latias ex – Super Rare, 079/063

Making its debut in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, way back in the third generation of Pokémon, Latias appears on this list as a Super Rare card, again with the style that’ll be very familiar to collectors of this specific rarity!
5. Mega Gardevoir ex – Super Rare, 078/063

Super Rare cards seem to be very well represented on this list! It seems that fans of the Mega Symphonia set are really keen to get their hands on them, and here we are with another. Mega Gardevoir ex is a particularly beautiful example of this distinctive card style, so we can see why it’s one that fans are clamoring for!
4. Wally’s Compassion – Special Art Rare, 091/063

Now of course, the Super Rare cards we’ve just checked out do look cool, but in my opinion there’s nothing like pulling a Special Art Rare card from a Pokémon booster pack. From here on out, the remaining cards on this list are all Special Art Rares, and they’re all gorgeous cards too. This Wally’s Compassion card is a fantastic example; it’s a beautifully cozy card, and showcases the compassionate Pokémon Trainer wonderfully.
3. Mega Kangaskhan ex – Special Art Rare, 089/063

From the serene, cozy ambience of the Wally’s Compassion Special Art Rare card, we immediately jump straight back into action with this Mega Kangaskhan ex! It’s a great example of how varied Pokémon cards can be, and it’s a really good showcase for another of the original 151 Pokémon. That’s right: Kangaskhan has been around since the very first generation of Pokémon, so it’s good to see this OG still going strong!
2. Mega Latias ex – Special Art Rare, 088/063

The next Special Art Rare for our list of the most valuable Mega Symphonia cards is another Mega Latias ex. The feeling of speed and dynamism of this artwork is incredible, so it’s no wonder it made it so close to the top of our list!
1. Mega Gardevoir ex – Special Art Rare, 087/063

Right at the very top of the list of the most valuable Mega Symphonia cards is Mega Gardevoir ex. Yes, we saw Mega Gardevoir ex before, but here’s the Pokémon in a Special Art Rare variant. Much like Wally’s Compassion, it’s another example of a truly beautiful card that doesn’t need to feature an action scene to make an impact. It’s stunning, and well deserving of the number one spot!
