Despite being a pop culture phenomenon since the first chapter of the manga was published in 1997, somehow One Piece just keeps on going. Though the One Piece Card Game has only been around for a few years, its popularity has led to many of its cards being highly sought after, and surprisingly expensive. Which are the most valuable cards in the booster packs for the game’s 12th set, Legacy of the Master? Let’s find out!
Table of Contents
Toggle10. Dracule Mihawk – Alternate Art SR, OP12-030

One of the main rivals of Straw Hat crew member, Roronoa Zoro, Dracule Mihawk is the first card to appear on the list of the most valuable cards from OP-12: Legacy of the Master. It’s an alternate art version of the card, which does appear in much cheaper, less scarce form in OP-12 boosters!
9. Tashigi – SP R, OP06-050

Sometime enemy and occasional ally of the Straw Hat crew, Tashigi appears here on a card that’s actually a variant of one from an earlier set, OP-06: Wings of the Captain. Cards designated as SP can be from any set, and each new set’s SP cards feature unique art styles that make them incredibly sought after. Which is why this card appears on the list of the most valuable OP-12 cards!
8. Demon Aura Nine Sword Style Asura Blades Drawn Dead Man’s Game – Alternate Art R, OP12-037

I think this holds the record for the longest card name we’ve ever seen without any punctuation! Nine Sword Style is used by Zoro as a technique, the power of which is increased massively after training for now-rival Dracule Mihawk for two years. The long-winded name of “Demon Aura Nine Sword Style Asura Blades Drawn Dead Man’s Game” is the strongest form of the technique overall, and Zoro is shown using it against the fearsome Kaidou on this alternate art version of the card.
7. Portgas.D.Ace – SP SR, ST13-011

The brother of One Piece protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, Portgas D. Ace appears here on an SP card. This card previously appeared in the Ultra Deck, The Three Brothers. Of course, it didn’t appear with this incredible artwork, nor was it in any way rare, considering you could find it in every starter deck box. So if you want this Portgas D. Ace as a card to use in-game, now you know where to find it. If you’re a collector though, this SP will definitely be the one you need!
6. Bartholomew Kuma – Alternate Art SEC, OP12-119

An admirer of the Straw Hat Pirates, Bartholomew Kuma is the adoptive father of Jewelry Bonney, who you may see elsewhere on this list. An alternate art, SEC variant of the card, this one has amazing artwork, with a striking color scheme; it’s clear why this particular card would be so highly sought after.
5. Roronoa Zoro – Alternate Art L, OP12-020

Featuring the named character and, looming over him, former master Dracule Mihawk, this Roronoa Zoro card is an alternate art Leader. It’s gorgeous, and its inclusion on this list is no surprise to us here at Card Gamer.
4. Zoro-Juurou – SP SR, ST18-004

An alias of master swordsman Roronoa Zoro, this Zoro-Juurou card is another SP card with an incredibly striking aesthetic. It first appeared in standard form in Monkey D. Luffy deck, ST18.
3. Jewelry Bonney – Manga SEC, OP12-118

See, we told you that you’d see Jewelry Bonney on this list, didn’t we? This version of her card is a Manga variant, featuring panels from the One Piece manga behind a full color illustration of the character. Manga card variants are almost always among the most sought after cards in a One Piece set, and this shows that the Legacy of the Master set is no exception in that regard.
2. Marshall.D.Teach – Gold SP SR, OP09-093

One of the very biggest villains in the entire One Piece saga, Marshall D. Teach appears here in a spectacular Gold variant SP card. Originally appearing as part of the Emperors in the New World set, this card is incredibly sought after, but there’s an even more valuable version, as you’ll soon see!
1. Marshall.D.Teach – Silver SP SR, OP09-093

Finally, the most valuable card overall in the Legacy of the Master set is another SP variant of Marshall D. Teach. This Silver version is only slightly more sought after than the Gold, but if you find either of these, it’s almost as good as finding the fabled One Piece itself!
