The sixteenth set for Disney Lorcana has been announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Following on from the recently released Attack of the Vine! and the upcoming Hyperia City and Into the Inkdark, we’ll see Cosmic Quest landing in the second quarter of 2027.
With charming key art featuring Ariel and Flounder in space, Cosmic Quest is taking players on an intergalactic adventure for the first time in Disney Lorcana. With release so far ahead, we don’t know much about Cosmic Quest yet, but we’ll update you with more details as soon as they’re revealed. Besides, we’ve seen a lot more of Lorcana’s upcoming releases, thanks to Disney’s reveals at D23!
Hyperia City Card Reveals
Launching on October 16th, 2026, we’ve seen full card reveals for the Hyperia City set. Above is the Pepita card, and below we have a selection of Location cards that have been revealed for the first time:
Though more cards were shown, we didn’t see anything beyond the top halves of each card. Perhaps because they reveal information on the new energy source for Lorcana: Ink Drops. We don’t yet know how this works, but card text we’ve previously seen has referred to Ink Drops, and we’re very intrigued!
Into the Inkdark: Collector Boosters and First Card Revealed
The villain-focused set, Into the Inkdark, is introducing Collector Boosters to Lorcana. Each booster will contain 12 premium foil cards, and print runs will be limited. They’ll also only be available at select locations, making them even tougher to track down for Disney Lorcana fans.
The first card reveal for Into the Inkdark is above. Though we can’t yet see this card’s ability text, it does a great job of showcasing Maleficent in spectacularly designed art. It’s a new rarity called Illustrious, and these will be serialized, meaning that each card is printed with a unique number. Only 6 Illustrious cards will appear per set, with just 23 of each of them printed worldwide. So they’re sure to become the most sought after Lorcana cards of them all! Into the Inkdark arrives in the first quarter of 2027.
Disney Lorcana Visual Guide
Arriving in February 2027, this lavish book will showcase the artwork from Disney Lorcana’s various sets so far, with dives into the game’s storyline too. It’ll be packaged with the Creative Inspiration promo card, shown above.
Digital Disney Lorcana Announced
Finally, we also discovered that a digital version of Disney Lorcana is in the works. Long overdue, this game will be playable on PC and mobile devices, but as of yet that’s all we know!
