Not content with dominating the anime-related TCG space with One Piece (not to mention Gundam, Dragon Ball or the Godzilla and Digimon games), Bandai have announced that they’ll be bringing the Naruto saga to your tabletop, with the Naruto Card Game. Let’s check it out!
What Do We Know About the Naruto Card Game So Far?

At this stage, we don’t actually know very much about the Naruto Card Game. We do know that you’ll be able to learn how to play it at Gen Con 2026, from July 30th to August 2nd, as the very first Naruto Card Game tutorial sessions will be held there. These will teach players the basics via walkthroughs using demo decks, and will be free to take part in.
The promo items shown in the above image have also been revealed. A backpack, a playmat and the first card reveal too! You can see a Chakra card there, which we anticipate will be Naruto’s resource system, much like DON!! cards in One Piece.
You’ll be able to register for the tutorial sessions on the official Gen Con website from the 21st of June. You’ll also be able to receive the gift set shown above by joining a tutorial session; though it doesn’t include the playmat, it will have a purchase ticket for you to buy the playmat when it arrives in 2027!
If you can’t make it to Gen Con, don’t worry; additional tutorial sessions will be taking place worldwide in the following months, with more details to be revealed.
Here at Card Gamer, we’re always very excited to see more card games, and we’re especially interested to see more details of the Naruto Card Game! We’ll be sure to share further details with you as they’re revealed, and we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve been able to find out more! In the meantime, we’ll leave you with a special illustration by Masashi Kishimoto, featuring cards from the Naruto Card Game:
