Legends of the Force Cards

It’s amazing to think that Star Wars Unlimited has only been around since early 2024; it has become such a staple of the trading card game (or TCG) landscape that it feels as if it’s been around much longer. With its fifth set, Legends of the Force, on the way, Star Wars Unlimited shows no signs of slowing down either. What cards have been revealed for Legends of the Force so far? Let’s take a look!

What’s New in Legends of the Force?

As you may guess from the name of the set, Legends of the Force will strongly focus on Jedi, as well as the Force itself. As such, you’ll be able to create a token representing the Force, and use it in all sorts of interesting and highly thematic ways.

The two cards above are a great, early example of how this works in practice. Players will be able to use a card such as Drain Essence (shown on the left above) to not only deal damage to a unit, but also to create your Force token. Then that Force token can be used with a card such as Darth Sidious, The Phantom Menace (above on the right), which, when played, can use the Force to defeat each non-Sith unit in play with 3 or less HP remaining.

The Hidden keyword is also a new addition to the game; as keywords go, it’s a very straightforward one. Simply put, it merely allows a unit a turn’s grace before being targeted by an attack; a unit with the Hidden keyword can’t be attacked during the same phase in which it was played. You can see an example of this on the Anakin Skywalker, Force Prodigy card above.
