The fifth set for Star Wars Unlimited, Legends of the Force, is one of the most exciting releases for the game so far. With a strong focus on Jedi and the Force from just about any era or source media that you can name, it caters for fans of The Old Republic, The High Republic and even the Jedi video games, Fallen Order and Survivor. So it stands to reason that the set’s cards are going to be highly sought after, but which are the most valuable? Let’s find out!
Table of Contents
Toggle10. Anakin Skywalker, Tempted by the Dark Side – Showcase

It’s fitting that we begin our list with Anakin Skywalker, whose exploits both as Skywalker and, later, Darth Vader, are covered in so many Star Wars stories both onscreen and off. Taking the tenth spot, on the list of the most valuable cards from the set, is his Leader card from Legends of the Force. It’s the Showcase variant; a very rare card to find in a booster pack, with their pull rate being 1 in every 288 packs! So it’s no wonder that you’ll find lots of Showcase cards on this list, given how highly sought after many of them are.
9. Darth Maul, Sith Revealed – Showcase

Much like Boba Fett, Darth Maul was originally a character whose popularity far outweighed their limited screen time; part of their appeal was, and still is, a cool visual design and a layer of mystery around their origins. Though both of those characters have since been resurrected and, arguably, suffer from overexposure, they remain just about as popular as ever. Which at least partially explains why this spectacular Darth Maul card, another Showcase variant with truly striking art, has made it to the most valuable Legends of the Force cards list.
8. Mother Talzin, Power Through Magick – Showcase

A Dathomirian witch and head of the Nightsisters, Mother Talzin’s Showcase card almost feels like a still frame from an animated show. Not only does Mother Talzin herself look incredibly sinister, but its color scheme is truly striking too. With its beautiful art and its scarcity, due to it being a Showcase card, its value to fans is understandable.
7. Avar Kriss, Marshal of Starlight – Showcase

With so many eras covered in Legends of the Force, we here at Card Gamer have found the set to be one of our favorites so far, particularly as long term fans of Star Wars. Avar Kriss hails from The High Republic era of Star Wars, set hundreds of years before the events of the first Star Wars movie. Though it’s an “older” period in Star Wars, The High Republic is a relatively new era in the overall saga and universe, covered primarily in books and comics. Avar Kriss has been one of the standout characters of this dignified, civilized age, and her beautiful Showcase card perfectly represents her nobility and authority.
6. Barriss Offee, We Have Become Villains – Showcase

The tragic fall of Jedi Barriss Offee to the Dark Side is devastating in Star Wars, especially as she eventually becomes one of the Empire’s Inquisitors, hunting down rogue Jedi after their near extinction following Order 66. Her Showcase variant card is fantastic, with moody, atmospheric art that features the fallen Jedi hidden inside her costume, wielding two glowing red lightsabers.
5. Kylo Ren, We’re Not Done Yet – Showcase

Though the Star Wars sequel trilogy is divisive, and Kylo Ren’s ultimate fate isn’t exactly beloved by fans, there’s no denying that he’s a fascinating and alluring character for most of his own story through the 7th and 8th films in the Star Wars saga. He appears here, on his Showcase card, as he does at the climax of The Force Awakens; furious and poised for more combat, wielding his unique, crossguard-style lightsaber.
4. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Courage Makes Heroes – Showcase

Obi-Wan Kenobi is another character who, like Anakin Skywalker, features in an awful lot of Star Wars stories, spanning the prequel and original trilogy eras. His Legends of the Force Leader card represents him during The Clone Wars era, sporting the armor he wore during that period. It’s a Showcase variant which makes it to this list, which isn’t surprising of course!
3. Darth Revan, Scourge of the Republic – Showcase

The final, and most valuable, Showcase card on this list of Legends of the Force cards is perhaps a surprising one; it features a character that many Star Wars fans may consider slightly obscure. That said, Darth Revan, who originated in 2003 PC and Xbox title, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, has remained incredibly popular, perhaps due to his deep connection to the player and its late-game twist. He’s certainly well served in Legends of the Force, with gorgeous artwork and fantastic, in-game mechanics too.
2. Baylan Skoll, Enigmatic Master – Serialized

Serialized cards made their debut in the Jump to Lightspeed set for Star Wars Unlimited, only found in the limited, collector-focused Carbonite Booster packs. Serialized cards are individually numbered, and there’s just 250 cards of each type available in the world. Baylan Skoll, who first appeared in the Ahsoka TV series (portrayed by the late Ray Stevenson), is the subject of this particular Serialized card, in a painterly, realistic illustration by Grant Griffin.
1. Anakin Skywalker, Legend of Mortis – Serialized

It’s incredibly apt that we begin and end our list with Anakin Skywalker, though rather than a Leader card (Showcase variants are only found as Leaders), it’s a Unit; it’s also a Serialized card, so there’s just 250 of these in the world, individually numbered and stamped as such. If you manage to find one of these Anakin Skywalker cards in a Carbonite Booster pack, congratulations: you’ve just pulled the most valuable Legends of the Force card in the entire set!
