In the Secrets of Strixhaven set, these Elder Dragons feature heavily, along with the magical university theme. Let’s take a look at the most valuable cards in the Secrets of Strixhaven set!

Toggle10. Silverquill, the Disputant (Borderless) – Mythic, 287

The founder of Silverquill College is Shadrix Silverquill, the master of light and shadow. Silverquill is the first of the five Elder Dragons on this list of the most valuable cards from Secrets of Strixhaven. You’ll soon see that they all make an appearance!
9. Quandrix, the Proof (Borderless) – Mythic, 286

The next Elder Dragon is up next, with Tanazir Quandrix in borderless art form. The master of reality and abstraction, she is (as you’d expect) the founder of Quandrix College.
8. Witherbloom, the Balancer – Mythic, 245

It’s unusual to see a standard variant of a card on the list of the most valuable, even if they are at the Mythic rarity level. yet here we have the third Elder Dragon, Beledros Witherbloom. She is a master of life and death magic, and is clearly a popular choice among MTG fans, as we’ll be seeing her again soon!
7. Emeritus of Ideation – Mythic, 45

The first human card to make it onto our list of valuable Secrets of Strixhaven cards is the Emeritus of Ideation. Part of the Emeritus cycle of Mythic cards in Secrets of Strixhaven, it’s one of five powerful cards that MTG fans have been very excited about, since before the set was even released!
6. Prismari, the Inspiration (Borderless) – Mythic, 285

Prismari College’s founder is Galazeth Prismari. His artistic nature is beautifully represented on this colorful, borderless art card. We can easily see why the Elder Dragons have all made it to the list of the most valuable cards in Secrets of Strixhaven; who wouldn’t want to collect the entire set, particularly of the borderless art cards?
5. Lorehold, the Historian (Borderless) – Mythic, 284

The fifth and final Elder Dragon is Velomachus Lorehold. True to the opposing nature of her mana color combination, she is the master of order and chaos magic. Though she’s the final Elder Dragon of the five to make their appearance here, this isn’t the final Elder Dragon card on the list overall!
4. Emeritus of Woe – Mythic, 80

Here we have another standard, bordered art card. It’s proof that players are very keen to get their hands on the Emeritus cards. It’s no surprise, given how powerful they are in-game. Though most lists of valuable cards are full of collectible art variants, meant for display or grading, whenever we see a bordered card, it’s a good bet that players are acquiring them for their decks too!
3. Witherbloom, the Balancer (Borderless) – Mythic, 288

So here we are with the final Elder Dragon card on this list, and it’s the second appearance of Beledros Witherbloom. This time, it’s a borderless art variant with a moody, atmospheric illustration which really contrasts with the standard version of the card.
2. Emeritus of Ideation (Extended Art) – Mythic, 315

Here we have the Emeritus of Ideation once more, in its extended art form. It’s a great showcase for the dramatic illustration on the card, and demonstrates that players really want to get their hands on the Emeritus cards!
1. Emeritus of Woe (Extended Art) – Mythic, 324

That point is proven even more with the card at number one on our list of the most valuable Secrets of Strixhaven cards. Here’s the Emeritus of Woe once more, with extended art to showcase its dark, alluring artwork even more clearly.
So there we have it; the current, most valuable cards from Secrets of Strixhaven. No doubt there are rarer and more expensive cards that’ll come to the fore over the coming months, but for now, these are the cards which fans have been most keen to get their hands on!
