New Pokémon Card With Highest HP Ever Releasing in July

Wailord ex is almost here, and joins a very exclusive club. Let's check out the new 380 HP card from the Japanese Abyss Eye set!

Though not the first card with 380 HP (that honor goes to Mega Venusaur ex in the Mega Evolution set), the Wailord ex from Japanese set, Abyss Eye, is the latest card to join a very exclusive club. There are currently just three Pokémon cards with 380 HP, which is the highest of any Pokémon card in history. Joining Mega Venusaur ex and Wailord ex in having that distinction is Mega Emboar ex, originally printed in Ascended Heroes.

Wailord ex can also dish out 120 damage using its Surf attack, for the cost of three Water energy. Its second attack, Falling Down, deals an awesome 270 damage, at the cost of five Water energy. However, there’s the small issue of Falling Down making the Wailord ex fall Asleep too!
