After a massively successful launch in 2023, Ravensburger are continuing to expand their great new card game, Disney Lorcana, with the third set: Into the Inklands.
Arguably the most exciting Lorcana set yet, Into the Inklands has some really intriguing new additions to the game.
The biggest shake-up is in the form of Location cards (check out our step by step guide on how to use Locations in Disney Lorcana), but something that has us very intrigued is that the set also gives players a way to build a deck featuring 101 Dalmatians!
With a focus on exploration and adventure, thanks to the aforementioned Locations and the inclusion of characters from 90s shows such as Duck Tales and Talespin, Into the Inklands is really going above and beyond to expand the Lorcana universe.
As always, publisher Ravensburger are releasing a decent range of products and accessories for newcomers and more experienced players of Lorcana alike.
Aping the release pattern of the first two sets, Into the Inklands is launching on February 23rd in specialist game stores (both in bricks-and-mortar stores and online), followed by a release at mainstream, mass market retailers on March 8th.
So what’s on the way, and where can you get hold of your Into the Inklands cards?
Let’s find out!

ToggleWhat Cards and Products Will Be Released For Into the Inklands?
Booster packs and booster boxes will be available, along with Starter Decks, the fancy Illumineer’s Trove box set and a Gift Set too.
Additionally, Ravensburger will also be releasing Deck Boxes, Card Sleeves and Play Mats for Into the Inklands, so you can make sure your cards are protected and safe with official Lorcana accessories and artwork!
Demand is sure to be sky-high, as Disney Lorcana seems to have attracted the attention of many Disney fans and collectors who’ve quite possibly never taken a second glance at a trading card game.
So let’s take a closer look at each product in more detail, as well as handy links to where you can get your hands on them!
Into The Inklands Booster Pack ($5.99/£4.99)
The cornerstone of any trading card game’s product range, the humble booster pack is, of course, first on our list of Into the Inklands products.
Containing 12 cards, Disney Lorcana booster packs mirror the pattern of just about any trading card game you can think of, in that they contain 6 common cards, 3 uncommons and then 2 cards at the rare of higher level, as well as a foil treated card of any rarity.
You can check out our guide to Disney Lorcana Card Rarity for more details.
Into the Inklands Booster Display Box ($143.99/UK £119.99)
If a single booster pack isn’t enough of a dopamine hit for you, then can I interest you in a booster box?
24 booster packs are contained within a booster box; opening one of these gives you the best chance of snagging the rarest and most highly sought after cards in any set.
With a chance of finding Enchanted cards – the most prized finds in Lorcana – being 1 in every 72 packs, however, you may still need to stock up on multiple booster boxes in order to find just one!
Our guide to Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter Pull Rates still applies to subsequent sets, so check that out if you need further insight as to just how likely you are (or not, as the case may be!) to find the scarcest cards in Into the Inklands.
Into the Inklands Starter Decks ($16.99/£17.99 each)
As with prior Disney Lorcana sets – The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn – there are multiple Starter Decks on offer for the Into the Inklands set.
Note that, for the US links above, you may have to check that these are in stock – US supply for Into the Inklands products seems to be very low, certainly in comparison to availability in the UK and Europe.
First up, we have an Amber and Emerald deck, featuring Pongo – from 101 Dalmatians – and Peter Pan on the box art.
The second deck is based around the Ruby and Sapphire Inks; this one features Moana and Scrooge McDuck, in Duck Tales treasure hunting mode, on its packaging.
While we don’t yet know which cards will be included, we do know what the Starter Decks contain in terms of their general contents.
Inside a Starter Deck box, you’ll find a ready to play 60 card deck (which features foil cards of the characters on the front of the box), 11 game tokens, a rule book and an Into the Inklands, 12 card booster pack.
These decks are by far the best way to get going with Disney Lorcana; though the decks aren’t going to win you any tournaments, they’re nicely balanced and tend to be pretty straightforward to use even for newcomers.
The included booster packs also help to give fans a taste of the set beyond what’s included in their chosen deck, as well as the exciting chance to find some very rare cards.
Into the Inklands Illumineer’s Trove ($49.99/£49.99)
Always a highlight of a Disney Lorcana set, the Illumineer’s Trove boxes provides a great way to get hold of multiple boosters, along with some very useful accessories.
Inside the Illumineer’s Trove, you’ll find a full art storage box, 6 card dividers, 6 damage counter dice, 1 Lore counter and 8 Into the Inklands booster packs, which each contain 12 additional game cards.
The damage counter dice are a fantastic upgrade from the standard, very thin cardboard counters provided in Starter Decks; the Lore counter is also an improvement on the alternative.
If you are a newcomer to Lorcana or trading card games in general, it’s definitely worth noting that this set won’t provide enough variety in its cards for you to use as a basis for creating a deck.
The Illumineer’s Trove is, however, perfect for expanding on an existing card collection and getting your hands on a small selection of nice accessories, both to use in game and for storage.
Into the Inklands Gift Set ($29.99/£27.99)
Despite the fact that there wasn’t a Rise of the Floodborn-specific Gift Set (instead, a special Disney 100 commemorative Gift Set was released as part of the range), it’s now back for Into the Inklands.
So, what can you find in this particular Lorcana Gift Set?
In this box, you’ll get two exclusive foil cards: Stitch, Covert Agent and Tinker Bell, Very Clever Fairy. You’ll also find two oversized versions of those cards, along with 4 booster packs and 2 themed lore tracker tokens.
Once more, it’s worth noting that, just like the Illumineer’s Trove, this isn’t going to provide enough cards to build a deck you can play with, but it’s a great way of adding a few exclusive cards to your collection, as well as some neat, if inessential tokens and extra booster packs too!
Into the Inklands Deck Boxes ($5.99/£5.49 Per Deck Box)
If you’re looking to make sure your Lorcana deck is safely stored, why not take a look at the official Into the Inklands deck boxes?
Note once more that the US stock may not be available, but you can check it using the links above.
Two designs are available: one featuring Scrooge McDuck and the other with Robin Hood.
Each box will hold a full deck of Disney Lorcana cards (and spares, as they’re designed for 80 cards!), being useful for longer term storage as well as transporting them to your next game.
Into the Inklands Card Sleeves ($9.99/£8.99 per pack)
If you want to really go all the way with the Lorcana theme for your deck, you can pair the deck box with matching card sleeves!
US stock seems to be quite thin on the ground, but we’ve provided a link where you may be able to pre-order if they do come back in stock. There doesn’t appear to be a problem with non-US stock at present.
As you can see, the designs on these sleeves mirror those found on the deck boxes – with one set being adorned with the Scrooge McDuck artwork and the other featuring the same Robin Hood image we’ve seen before.
Each pack contains 65 card sleeves, so you’ll have enough for a full deck and a few spares, that you may want to have handy for a bit of on-the-spot fine tuning.
These sleeves are great quality and have an opaque back, featuring one of the two aforementioned designs, with a matte finish.
They’re far from your only option, however – take a look at our best trading card sleeves guide, which will give you an idea of what other sleeves you can use to protect your cards!
Into the Inklands Play Mats ($19.99/£17.99 Per Play Mat)
It’s a shame that the play mats don’t match the images found on the deck boxes and sleeves, so you could really go all out with properly co-ordinating your accessories – but the artwork found on these play mats is gorgeous nonetheless!
Also, you guessed it: stock doesn’t seem to be readily available in the US for these, but pre-orders do appear to be widespread in the UK. You can check stock availability via the above buttons.
Two designs are available: one featuring Stitch and the other Moana.
It seems like a bit of a missed opportunity that these play mats don’t contain marked zones for placing your deck, discard pile and various cards in your play area.
However, without being marked with areas specific to Lorcana, these play mats are more versatile and can be used for just about any card game you like without causing unnecessary confusion.
The mats are made of neoprene and provide a high quality, safe and non-slip surface for you to use with your Lorcana cards – or indeed, any other cards you may want to play with.
