The Flow keyword allows you to play a card from your trash, use its ability, then banish it. Banishing a card means it’s removed from the game entirely, so once played from the trash, the card with Flow doesn’t go back to the trash. Instead, it’s removed from the game so it can’t be used again. Flow usually has an extra cost; for example, the Twilight Shroud card above can use Flow if it’s in your trash and you pay 2 runes of any color to use it.

Riftbound’s Vendetta set also introduces the Burn keyword, which sends cards to your trash immediately. If any “Burned” cards have Flow, this provides a nicely strategic combo. It means there’s less risk in using Burn and losing cards, as you can still access to them with Flow.
