The 30th anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game is being celebrated in a big way this year, with a special set called 30th Celebration. New cards, new variants and even reprints of classic, popular cards will all feature, and there’s even a special, 30th Celebration set of Basic Energy included in the set. Let’s take a look at them!

30th Celebration Basic Energy Cards

Though Basic Energy cards are hardly the most exciting type of cards, it’s cool that they’re getting the special treatment along with other Pokémon cards for 30th Celebration. So if you really want to go all out in making a fancy deck to celebrate three decades of Pokémon, you can do so and include your Basic Energy too! They have a similar look to the ethereal, “futuristic rare” cards in 30th Celebration, and also have the rainbow Pikachu 30 stamp in the bottom right:

Considering they’re just Basic Energy cards, they’re very cool, and will definitely make any deck they’re added to feel extra special too.
